A National Agency Check (NAC) consists of a check of the files of a number of government agencies for pertinent facts bearing on the loyalty andtrustworthiness of the individual. Examples of agencies checked are the FBI and the Defense Central Index of Investigations.
The NACLC (National Agency Check with Local Check) will be used as the initial investigation for contractors at the Confidential, Secret, and L access levels. It will also be used as the reinvestigation product for both contractors and Federal employees at the same access levels.
Basic National Agency Checks (Security/Suitability Investigations Index, Defense Clearance and Investigations Index, fingerprint classification, and a search of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s investigative index).
InfoCheckUSA does not provide NAC level checks at this time.
